So what is this?

This is nothing more than just an overview of all the animation and "posing mods" that are currently out there for The Elder Scrolls 4 : Oblivion. Their purpose is to have NPCs "act" like it wasn't possible with an unmodded Oblivion. However, about 80% of these poses are to be seen as "females only" because they look rather weird on big heavy orcs.
Here we go, just follow the links to get more informations about all the pose mods that are out there ... At least they're the ones that I'm aware of. If you think you've found another one, please share your finding with the community and drop me a line about it or use my Forum profile!

Customized EFGAddPose

My Hero! As far as I can see, this is the original download of EFGAddPose, but with a bunch of new poses (about 35-40). It's not clear to me who actually made these new poses, but slash197 at teseyecandy.com releases this pack as semi-private because he doesn't really know who made it either and can't credit everybody who was involved.
I really recommend you to use this Custom EFG pack instead of the original file because this collection has a lot more poses, including the original stuff and all of the poses are now labeled and not just numbers (like kneel or seductive hug).

EFG AddPose 0.4a

EFG AddPose - Sitting EFGAddPose was the first pose mod that caught the attention of a non-japanese community. It's origin is unknown to me, it was uploaded at eq2.matrix.jp but removed because people were eating up the server's bandwith just for downloading the new mod.
The mod comes with 5 new standing and 4 new sitting, lying, action and pair poses each.

Customized JOJO

my hero! This was often named "Jojo Edit" or "My Jojo" but it is almost something totally new: Correct me if I'm absolutely mistaken, but it looks to me as if this package comes with way more than 200 poses! Some of them are even real animations (like a NPC waving with its hand). Most of them are dealing with completely new aspects like soldiers or priests doing a religious ceremony. However, some poses seem to be ripped off the OSR Pose Mod and other mods.
Luckily, all poses and animations have pretty good descriptions, so you will immidiately know what a pose is going to look like.

Standing JOJO 0.3

2 horny dudes Looks like this one was released after EFGAddPose. Unfortunately, the readme consists of japanese letters only and deals with no external links. The text seems to give credit to EFG and uses the very same system for applying the static poses to NPCs.
It has 8 different standing poses, each of them are better used on females only.

Stop! This is (or was) a customized release of the OSR pose pack. Its description states that it comes with a total number of 62 poses
However, I no longer list this mod due to complaints of the author.

OSR Pose

OSR Last but not least: An impressive piece of work by two friendly japanese people with their own blogs, Lera and Pizz: They're both adding a lot of fresh content to Oblivion, the original download comes with an English readme file.
Fortunately, this mod is frequently updated and has an official site with screenshots of all the poses. Most of them are dealing with rather feminine gestures. Altogether, this mod comes with an impressive number of approximately 60 to 80 poses.

CTAddPose 0.2

yay It's getting better and better: This one is brand new and comes with some pretty cool and new poses: 3 Attack, 4 Fallen, 4 Misc, 8 Standing, therefore it's mainly about battles.
Apart from that, the japanese author put in a pretty good english readme and uploaded his/her work at tesnexus! Too bad this mod didn't catch that much attention. Hope that's going to change.
The author seems to be a pretty nice person, and can be contacted via the official Elder Scrolls Board.

LAIN Pose Mod 1.4

Lain Pose Mod Fortunately, this mod has an official site as well as a possibility to contact the author. Lain Pose mod came after the EFG and JOJO ones and has about 30 poses.
I couldn't get anything from the japanese blog, Google Translation and Babelfish weren't able to help me out...
You can always check for newer versions of this mod by using the official yahoo download link below. As always, this mod works like all the others by adding a lesser power and a crystal ball.

Actors in Emotions 1.0

rawr! This looks like a more advanced version of Actors Emotions. Once activated/casted it shows the menu where you can pick one of 36 different facial expressions.
They can as well be mixed with static body poses.

Actors Emotions 0.2

wtf! Ok, first I have to confess that this is not really a posing mod. Actors Emotions does not have any poses but it was made for something different: Controlling the facial expression of every NPC. The cool thing is that it works with all pose mods and the expression can be applied after a pose. This mod has been merged into the OSR Pose Mod.
The latest version is 0.2 and has been uploaded to TesNexus.
